ABOUT

The granadilla has a hard, shiny skin and is orange to dark yellow in colour. The gelatinous flesh is sweet and sour in taste and contains small black edible seeds. The fruit can be cut open and scooped out, but can also be used in juices and desserts.

PREPARATION

A ripe granadilla has a hard, firm skin and is a beautiful orange in colour. The skin is not edible. The fruit can be eaten out of the hand by cutting it in two and scooping out the flesh. The flesh is also often used in desserts, cakes and juices.
