For over 35 years, TFC Holland has specialized in the import and export of exotic fruits and vegetables. From our headquarters in Waddinxveen, we work closely with growers and suppliers around the world to deliver products of the highest quality to our customers.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Buyer (m/f/d) Fruit & Vegetables.

Your Responsibilities

As a Buyer, you are responsible for coordinating and supporting the entire procurement process. You ensure that supply and demand are optimally aligned, working closely with sales, planning, quality control, production, and logistics.

Your responsibilities include:

Purchasing fresh fruit and vegetables from national and international suppliers Aligning procurement requirements with sales, planning, and production Monitoring inventory levels, deliveries, and product availability Building and maintaining long-term supplier relationships Recording and verifying procurement data in the ERP system Checking incoming invoices and clarifying discrepancies Identifying and addressing challenges in quality, inventory, and logistics Assisting with supplier searches and continuous optimization of procurement processes

Your Profile

You are committed, enjoy taking on responsibility, and maintain an overview even in a dynamic work environment.

Furthermore, you bring the following:

Completed commercial training, a degree, or a comparable qualification Experience in a commercial or operational procurement role Experience in the fruit and vegetable, food, or logistics sector is an advantage Good administrative and organizational skills as well as experience with ERP systems Good knowledge of Dutch and English; knowledge of German is an advantage A proactive, diligent, and solution-oriented way of working
