More Space for Storage, Ripening, and Processing
With the move to Waddinxveen, TFC Holland is expanding its spatial and technical capacities. Over 26,000 m² of additional space is available for the storage, ripening, processing, and packaging of tropical fruits and vegetables.
Compared to the previous location, the new building features double the storage area, as well as larger sections for ripening and processing. The logistical connections and the new layout allow for structured organization of goods flows and production areas, and the setup of packing lines as needed.
Modern Infrastructure for Defined Processes
Operational, social, and ecological aspects were considered during the planning of the facility. New machinery, technical systems, and digitally controlled processes support operations from goods receipt, ripening, and sorting to packaging.
Measures and features at the facility include:
Workplaces and process flows considering occupational safety and health protection
Modern storage and ripening technology to support defined quality requirements
Automated and Digitally Controlled Production
Automation and digital control help make processes traceable and reduce potential sources of error. At the same time, production processes can be adapted to different products, ripening stages, packaging requirements, and customer orders.

With the Waddinxveen facility, TFC Holland has created additional capacities for the handling and marketing of tropical fruit and vegetable products and is systematically developing its operational processes.
