International Featured Standards
(IFS)

IFS, short for International Featured Standards, is a developed quality standard for food processing companies. To qualify for certification, companies must meet strict requirements in the areas of quality and food safety. The IFS certificate is comparable to the BRC certificate; in this case, major German retailers are the initiators.

Fairtrade

Fairtrade is a strategy aimed at promoting sustainable development and reducing poverty through fairer trade.

Fairtrade’s main objective is to change the conventional trading system to help disadvantaged small producers and workers and improve their access to markets. These measures can lead to improvements in the social and economic well-being of small producers and workers, as well as their empowerment and environmental sustainability.

TFC sees itself as an active partner for responsible supply chains and therefore also works with supply chain programmes and certification standards that take social and environmental requirements into account.

We therefore also offer Fairtrade-certified products that are produced and traded in accordance with Fairtrade standards.

Since the start of our collaboration with Fairtrade in 2016, we have rapidly expanded our range of Fairtrade-certified products and currently offer more than 15 fully certified products from 8 different countries.
